At Universum Labs, we believe knowledge is not meant to be locked in silos. Scientific discovery is humanity’s most powerful resource, yet today it remains fragmented across papers, disciplines, and paywalls. Our mission is to make discovery explorable, equitable, and actionable—transforming scientific literature into a living map anyone can navigate.
We are building an open-access, AI-powered knowledge graph, supported by quantum and classical intelligence, to reveal connections no single field, paper, or person can see alone. By structuring what humanity knows—and doesn’t yet know—we aim to accelerate the pace of discovery and make knowledge a common good.
Our Story
Universum Labs began with a simple hypothesis:
If we can map the connections between problems, tools, and theories, we can unlock solutions hidden in plain sight.
What started as sketches of an idea has grown into an ambitious effort to build the world’s first dynamic atlas of science—a system where users can explore open problems, follow the tools used to solve them, and uncover patterns across disciplines.
We are at the beginning of this journey. Our MVP launches in 2025, focused on quantum computing as a first domain. Over time, the map will expand across physics, AI, climate, biology, and beyond.

Cierra Choucair is guided by the belief that access to knowledge is a human right. A journalist, strategist, and quantum data analyst by background, Cierra has become a recognized voice in the deep tech ecosystem—bridging emerging technologies such as quantum computing, artificial intelligence, and space with the real-world challenges they are aimed to address. Cierra also serves as Strategic Content Director at Resonance Holdings, parent company of The Quantum Insider, where she leads strategy at the intersection of industry analysis, communications, and market intelligence. She is an active member of the Quantum Economic Development Consortium, sits on the advisory council for Girls in Quantum, and is a frequent speaker at global technology events.

With a foundation in psychology and organizational science, Sandro operates at the nexus of human behavior, technology, and global strategy. As founder of FromCoach and university lecturer, he has trained over 100 professionals in resilience, leadership, and intercultural competence—bridging scientific rigor with actionable impact. His corporate experience includes roles at Huawei, Amazon, and StepStone, where he advanced HR strategy, data-driven process innovation, and international talent management. Certified by Harvard, Google, and Imperial College, Sandro combines psychological insight with technical fluency in AI, data analysis, and digital transformation. At Universum Labs, he aims to harness this unique synthesis of human and machine intelligence to design AI-driven systems that foster systemic innovation and sustainable progress.
